Dear Little Mr. and Miss Participants:

It is time, once again, for the Four States Fair and Rodeo, September 12^th through September 20^th.  We are looking forward to a successful event and wish to invite you to participate in our Little Mr. and Miss Western Contest.

Trophies will be presented to the winners and lst runners-up in each age group. All children participating in the event will receive a memento of some type. The winners and their parents will be the guests of the Four States Fair at the Saturday performance of the rodeo.

LITTLE MR. AND MISS WESTERN CONTEST

CONTEST COORDINATOR – MELAINE PAYNE

SUNDAY AFTERNOON SEPTEMBER 16 – THE OASIS

RULE 1.     The Child must be between the ages of four and five years with judging at each age level.

RULE 2.      The Child must be dressed in some degree of western clothes.

RULE 3.      ENTRY FEE FOR ENTERING CONTEST WILL BE $10.00 PER ENTRY.

RULE 4.      The Contest will be judged by out of town judges. The contestants will be judged on 90 percent personality and  

                   10 percent Western attire.

RULE 5.      The first forty (40) contestants will be invited to ride on the float in the Fair Parade to be held Saturday at 

                    10:00 AM. A parent must ride with the child on the float in the parade.

RULE 6.     The winners and lst runner-ups will be presented a trophy. Each child will be presented a memento of some 

                   type. The winners and their parents will be guest of the Fair at the Saturday night performance of the Rodeo.

RULE .7     The deadline for the Contest will be September 5^th. There will be no late entries accepted.

  4 YEAR OLDS……………..2:00 PM

                                                               5 YEAR OLDS …………….3:30 PM
