Check - In: Thursday, September 23^rd ARRIVAL 4PM – 8AM (Weight must be turned in by 8PM)

Judging: Friday, September 24^th at 9AM

Release: 30 minutes after conclusion of show.

JUNIOR MARKET SWINE SHOW RULES

                      (See Exhibitors General Rules & Regulations)

                 RULE 1.  All entries must be in place by 8:00 PM Thursday, September 23, 2010

                 ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries will close September 2, 2010, and must be postmarked by September 2, 2010. 

                 LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!   Exhibitors must be in 3^rd grade or 9 years old to enter the show.

                 RULE 2.  ENTRY FEES: An entry fee of $10 per head must accompany each current  entry form. 

                                  SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED WITHIN THE CLUB AT A $10 FEE PER HEAD!

                                  ENTRY FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. 

RULE 3.  ENTRY FORMS: must be completed online. Only online entries will be accepted.  ALL

                ENTRIES MUST BE MADE ONLINE All online receipts must be signed and include complete

                mailing address and phone number for owner &/or exhibitor. IN ORDER FOR ENTRIES TO BE

                COMPLETE TWO THINGS SHOULD BE INCLUDED, 1. CHECK OR MONEY ORDER,

                2. ONLINE RECIEPT (SUMMARY SHEET).  Mail information and payment to FSF, 3700 East 50^th

                Street Texarkana, AR 71854.

                     RULE 4. Weights must be turned in to the Swine superintendents by 8 PM on Thursday, Sept. 23^rd!! 

                     RULE 5.  OWNERSHIP: Health papers are required and will be checked.

                     RULE 6.  PASSES: Each exhibitor will be given 1 pass. Exhibitors will be allowed to purchase additional

                                      passes.  Each pass will allow 1 person and 1 vehicle through the South Gate only. 

                                      Parking will be in designated areas only.

                                      PASSES WILL BE MAILED TO TEACHER OR CEA.

                     RULE 7.  ARRIVAL & RELEASE:  All entries in the Market Swine Show must be in checked in with the livestock

                                     director by 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010.  All exhibits will be released 30 minutes following the

                                     conclusion of the swine show. 

                     RULE 8.  Weight Minimum 150# Maximum 280#.  This will be a breed market show of gilts and barrows shown together

                                       there must be a minimum of 10 animals per breed if not they will show as AOB.

                     RULE 9.  Classes will be determined by weights.  You must classify your own animals breed when weight is turned in, and

                                      show ring chairman will bump any animal unfit for that breed to crossbreed.

Weigh back must be within 5% of what is turned in.

Premiums paid 1^st – 3^rd Place additional premiums as follows:

**MINIMUM OF 50 HEAD~  50-75  WILL PAY $100 FOR GRAND  & $50 FOR RESERVE GRAND,

 76 - 100 HEAD WILL PAY $150 FOR GRAND & $75 FOR RESERVE GRAND,

101 PLUS WILL PAY $200 FOR GRAND & $100 FOR RESERVE GRAND.

SHOWMANSHIP – Enter day of show. $5 Jackpot – winner takes all.

Showmanship:  base date for determining age is 8-31-10.

Junior Exhibitors - 9 to 12 years

Intermediate Exhibitors – 13 to 16 years

Senior Exhibitors – 17 years and over
