JUNIOR MARKET GOAT SHOW EXHIBIT RULES:

(See Exhibitors General Rules & Regulations) Market Goats will be split wether & does.  Females may be shown in either market show or open show, but not both!  Entries will not be changed after arrival.

RULE 1.  All entries must be in place by 10AM Wednesday, September 23, 2009.  All rules that apply to the Open Goat Show will apply to the Junior Market Goat Show.  Market Wether & Market Does will be weighed in at check in and broken down into classes by weight.  PENS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AT $5 PER PEN.

RULE 2.  An entry fee of $10.00 per head per class must accompany each entry.

RULE 3.  ENTRIES WILL CLOSE SEPTEMBER 4, 2009. Late entries will NOT be accepted.  Printed computer receipt & payment must be postmarked by September 4, 2009 (not postage meter stamp) to avoid late fees. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

RULE 4. Exhibitors will weigh their own goats. There will be a weigh back 5 lb limit on weigh back.  Weights must be turned in by 11 AM 

RULE 5.  ALL goats must have a Premise Ear ID Tag following rules of the Arkansas Livestock & Poultry Commission. MUST BE OFFICIAL USDA TAG, AND CAN BE ORDERED VIA USDA AT (501)224-9515.

RULE 6. PASSES: 1 PASS PER EXHIBITOR.

Mail Summary Sheet and payment to:  Four States Fair, 3700 East 50^th Street, Texarkana, AR 71854.

Premiums paid 1^st – 3^rd Place

Additional premiums as follows FOR OVERALL GRAND CHAMPION AND OVERALL RESERVED CHAMPIONS:

**MINIMUM OF 50 HEAD~  50-75  WILL PAY $100 FOR GRAND  & $50 FOR RESERVE GRAND,

 76 - 100 HEAD WILL PAY $150 FOR GRAND & $75 FOR RESERVE GRAND,

101 PLUS WILL PAY $200 FOR GRAND & $100 FOR RESERVE GRAND.

MARKET : (All Market animals need to have their milk teeth.) Market Goats will be weighed in at check in and broken down into weight classes.

Showmanship:  base date for determining age is 8-31-09

Junior Exhibitors - 9 to 12 years

Intermediate Exhibitors – 13 to 16 years

Senior Exhibitors – 17 years and over

$5 Jackpot entry fee – pay when entering the ring.  WINNER TAKES ALL!!
