JUNIOR MARKET GOAT SHOW EXHIBIT RULES

(See Exhibitors General Rules & Regulations) All Market Goats will be shown together weather & does.  Goats may be shown in either market show or open show, but not both!

RULE 1.  All entries must be in place by 11AM Wednesday, September 19, 2007.  All rules that apply to the Open Goat Show will apply to the Junior Market Goat Show.   Market Wether & Market Does will be weighted in at check in and broken down into classes by weight.  PENS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AT $5 PER PEN.

RULE 2.  An entry fee of $10.00 per head per class must accompany each entry.

RULE 3.  ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AUGUST 31, 2007. Late entries will NOT be accepted.  Summary Sheet & payment must be postmarked by August 31, 2007 (not postage meter stamp) to avoid late fees. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

RULE 4. ONLY ONE TRIP ACROSS SCALES FOR WEIGHT IN!! 

RULE 5.  ALL goats must have a Premise Ear ID Tag following rules of the Arkansas Livestock & Poultry Commission. MUST BE OFFICIAL USDA TAG, AND CAN BE ORDERED VIA USDA AT (501)224-9515.

RULE 6. PASSES: 1 PASS PER EXHIBITOR.

Mail Summary Sheet and payment to:  Four States Fair, 3700 East 50^th Street , Texarkana , AR 71854 , 

ATTN.: Goat Show.

Premiums paid 1^st – 3^rd Place additional premiums as follows:

**MINIMUM OF 50 HEAD WILL PAY $100 FOR GRAND CHAMPION &

$50 FOR RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION, 51 – 75 HEAD WILL PAY $150

FOR GRAND & $75 FOR RESERVE GRAND, 76 PLUS WILL PAY $200

FOR GRAND & $100 FOR RESERVE GRAND.

MARKET : (All Market animals need to have their milk teeth.)

Market Goats will be weighted in at check in and broken down into weight classes.

Showmanship:  base date for determining age is 8-31-07

Junior Exhibitors - 9 to 12 years

Intermediate Exhibitors – 13 to 16 years

Senior Exhibitors – 17 years and over

$5 Jackpot entry fee – pay when entering the ring.  WINNER TAKES ALL!!
