The Four States Fair Ag Learning Center opened in 2006 as the first facility of its kind in Arkansas and the Four States region. Our mission is to connect children and families with agriculture through engaging, hands-on experiences that demonstrate how agriculture impacts our everyday lives. From the farm to the table, visitors discover where their food, fiber, and other agricultural products come from while exploring Arkansas's rich agricultural heritage.
The Ag Learning Center is open year-round and offers free educational programs for children of all ages. We welcome public and private schools, homeschool groups, childcare centers, preschools, 4-H clubs, FFA chapters, Scout troops, church groups, summer camps, and other youth organizations. Private groups may also schedule programs!
Our interactive exhibits and lessons highlight many areas of agriculture, including beef cattle, soybeans, corn and grain sorghum, catfish aquaculture, dairy, poultry, crops, natural resources, and the countless ways agriculture touches our daily lives. Through hands-on activities, live demonstrations, educational exhibits, and seasonal programming, students leave with a greater appreciation for the farmers, ranchers, and producers who help feed and clothe our communities.
The Ag Learning Center is proud to partner with the Arkansas Beef Council, Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board, Arkansas Corn & Grain Sorghum Promotion Board, and Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board to provide accurate, engaging agricultural education that reaches thousands of students and families each year.
